The small-town feel can be a welcome change from some of the other places on the Gold Coast, such as Surfers Paradise, and yet it is only five minutes from the Gold Coast Airport, giving this town an even greater advantage. There’s nothing to be lost by spending time in this charming city; in fact, with its interesting shops, open air restaurants and markets, cafes, clubs, and pubs, Coolangatta is definitely the place to be.
