Here is an opportunity where you can meet over 2,000 Australian native animals, go to Featherdale Wildlife Park. This multi-award winning sanctuary is home to more than 300 different species, including all of your favorites like Kangaroos.
Featherdale has an extensive breeding program in place for many of its species including Quolls, Koalas, Birds of Prey, reptiles, Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies, Ghost Bats and more.
FREE Koala encounters take place throughout the day and be sure to get a picture. Then go and hand feed Kangaroos, Wallabies and Emus for just a dollar. Meet Wombats, Echidnas, Tasmanian Devils, Dingoes, Little Penguins, Snakes and Cassowaries. You’ll even get the chance to meet the world’s deadliest snake – the Inland Taipan.
Encounter over 30 species of rare and endangered animals including Ghost Bats and Bilbies. Go see some of the amphibians and reptiles in one of the houses on the grounds. There is even a giant Saltwater Crocodile you can see up close.
