Yanchep National Park

Tell a Friend

Just 45 minutes north of Perth, Yanchep National Park attracts over 240,000 visitors each year. And you will soon understand why. There are so many things to do!

Take a guided tour of the Crystal Cave, this limestone cave is home to incredible stalagmites and underground lakes.  Explore the park’s Loch McNess wetlands or take the opportunity to participate in an Aboriginal cultural experience, and discover ancient Aboriginal practices. There is also an art gallery where you can learn about ancient Australian culture.

The park is equipped with barbeque and picnic facilities, row boat hire (depending on the season), scenic walk trails, koalas, kangaroos, and many other native animals and plants. And if you are visiting in the Spring, expect to see amazing wildflowers!

Nestled in tuart and banksia woodlands, the park is home to many different water and bush birds. Endangered Carnaby’s black-cockatoos are a spectacular daily sight, and Western Grey kangaroos are commonly seen on the walk trails.
