Rhythmboat Dinner Cruise

What a great night!  A couple of us went on the Rhythmboat Dinner (and entertainment) Cruise last night.  If you are looking for some easy to get to, live entertainment and an affordable meal with an evening Sydney Harbour Cruise thrown in then you should look them up.

The evening started with us arriving at the Pyrmont Whalf just behind the National Maritime Museum at around 7.00pm, a crowd of fellow cruise-goers were also gathered.  Once boarded we were alloted seats and introduced to the evening by the MC.  Buffet dinner, warm up singer and full Elvis impersonator act followed.  Yes is was Elvis, yes it was cheesy, but was it fun.  He really engaged the whole audience, a tough feat in anybody's book.  It was a cash bar, so your $69 doesn't pay for everything, but for a cruise, live entertainment and a 2-course (main and dessert) meal its still great value.

Its certainly hard to get onto the harbour for alot less.

Were there any international young people present?  In truth, no not really.  This would appear to be pitched at the Sydneysider, local domestic market.  Would you be welcome, I am sure you would.  So if you are looking for that typical 'backpacker partyboat' experience then look elsewhere.  But if you have a mind to 'meet the locals', step outside the square and be entertained then look no further and try Rhythmboat Dinner Cruises.
