Do you want to discover Australia's rich diversity of land- based animals in a short amount of time?
I personally think that "Sydney Wildlife World" is a great thing to do when visiting Sydney. It's such a good way to discover the Australian land-based animals, and after just entering the park I already felt like I was in the wilderness of Australia. After an hour-and-a-half of looking at all the wonders of Australian wildlife I was able to visit the gift shop, and it felt great to relax in the Wildlife Café. It was an exciting and very interesting experience, and I definitely recommend it for everyone.
Right at Darling Harbour, one of Sydney's exciting hot- spots, you can find the "Sydney Aquarium", home to one of the most varied collections of aquatic animals in the world. Right next to it is "Sydney Wildlife World", home to more than 130 different species of Australian land animals, enough to satisfy everyone's interests.
Sydney Wildlife World is open from 9AM to 5PM each day, with tickets costing $34.99 for adults and $17.99 for children; the "Sydney Explorer Pass", which will allow you to visit Wildlife World as well as the Aquarium and two other famous attractions, is on sale for $49.99 for adults if you prefer.
Australia is the largest island in the world, and has been isolated for over 100 million years; Mother Nature has created a fantastic and unique diversity of animals living on land and in water as a result. The continent hosts a variety of landscapes, numerous biotopes and a comprehensive range of organisms. They are so varied, in fact, that it usually takes quite a long time to see it all.
